Royals of the Tempest

The wake of a peculiar storm leaves two strangers with strange visions and the ability to manipulate the aura around them. With this phenomena becoming the catalyst to misadventures with a declining improv troupe, the reserved Michael Anthony is reckoning with the regrets of his life trajectory prior. His newfound power allows him to both unseal the emotional baggage within the troupe's key members, and to cultivate a budding talent for stage presence, but with his achievements comes trepidation and guilt about his newfound friends, admirers, and the alter ego he performs under. Hally Aneluto is more interested with the reasons behind this power, and seeks to understand the strange pocket worlds created by this "Tempest", its creator's intentions, and why it has tethered her to all these other lives. 

Royals of the Tempest is a 2-in-1 character study curious in exploring the tensions between identity, façades, and sociability, backdropping coming-of-age realistic fiction with a touch of supernatural mystery and action.

Inaugural Release: Contains the first two chapers of the story. In the first chapter, we switch between Michael and Hally, following them each on the day on their fateful encounter. In the second chapter, we follow Hally's perspective as the duo is discovered collasped in a park by two other strangers, and her concern over the missing hours of that day.
